Ready Days is a free planning tool that helps you track how many days your household could last on the supplies you have. By using it, you agree to these terms.
Who provides the app
Ready Days is provided by Asher Apps, an independent app developer based in the United Kingdom. You can get in touch at hello@asherapps.co.uk.
What Ready Days is — and is not
Ready Days is a planning aid, not emergency guidance. It helps you keep track of what you have. It is not a substitute for advice from your local authority, emergency services, or a medical professional, and it should not be relied on during an emergency.
The figures the app produces are estimates based on the information you enter and on general assumptions about household consumption. Real consumption varies with circumstance. Treat the numbers as a prompt to think, not as a guarantee of how long anything will last.
In an emergency, follow official guidance. In the UK that means GOV.UK, your local council, and the emergency services.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter
- You are responsible for your own supplies, including checking expiry dates yourself rather than relying solely on app reminders
- You are responsible for keeping your own backups, using the app's export feature if you wish
Your data
Your data is stored on your device and nowhere else. We hold no copy and cannot recover it for you. If you lose your device, reset it, or delete the app without exporting first, that data is gone. See the privacy policy for details.
Notifications and reminders
The app can schedule local reminders, such as expiry alerts. Whether these appear depends on your device settings, your notification permissions, and your operating system. Reminders may be delayed or missed for reasons outside our control, so do not rely on them as your only means of tracking expiry dates.
Cost and availability
Ready Days is free to use. There are no purchases, subscriptions, or paid features. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time, and we are not obliged to maintain it indefinitely.
Intellectual property
The app, its name, design, and code remain the property of the developer. The data you enter remains yours. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, redistribute, decompile, or resell it.
No warranty
Ready Days is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its calculations will suit your circumstances.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, Ready Days — including loss of data, loss of supplies, or any consequence of relying on the app's estimates.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
